Quiet and bright room with soft beds, a lounge and a kitchen.

Relaxed staff!

We didn't have time, so we would definitely return here. It was a wonderful base for our great stay. The location was excellent and the staff was incredibly nice during the whole stay!

The location was good and stunning - within a walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Moreover, it was 2 km from Combat Zone.

Nothing to fault!

Awesome location in an event that required a stop-over in Whitianga, KIND staff, everything was great. Location: the hotel was near to a beautiful beach, big supermarkets and the ferry. Besides, it was 5 mins walk from Buffalo Beach.

This place was a great base for traveling and exploring the area, located conveniently near restaurants and the mini ferry to cathedral cove.

Such a lovely location, our large bright sunny room had a view of the sea. We really liked the way the hostel is split between houses so you have facilities shared between smaller numbers of people, its like a house share rather than a big hostel. Lots of free stuff too - Booked.nets, spades for hot water beach, beach towels, DVD.s, fishing rods. The team are really friendly and helpful. We were sad to leave and hope to come back sometime next year. Make sure you pick some pipis for dinner whilst you are there!

I stayed at a cozy house in Whitianga for my trip to the Coromandel Peninsula. The 4-bed dorm room was beautiful and well-equipped, with a lovely kitchen and laundry facilities. The beach was just across the road, and the city center and ferry terminal were a short 10-minute walk away. The staff at the house were friendly and provided great service. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach toys and a fully equipped kitchen. a perfect base for exploring the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely and clean. Booked a double room in one of the lodges, shared kitchen and bathroom with another guest, but plenty of space. Beach straight across the road.

Can't think of anything to dislike. Only thing to note: it's a longish walk from town if you don't have your own transport

The owner andthe manager are very nice. Helpto privode me tols to repair my bag. Alsothey provide feee wifi, though only 20m. But it is very convenient to plan next dayZs trip. Most other hotels try to penny customers on wifi.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, just across the road from a beautiful beach. It's great for relaxing walks and enjoying the scenery. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, genuinely interested in my plans and offering assistance when needed. One more advantage is the option to have a private double room, which is a great alternative to crowded dorms.

the dorm rooms had uncomfortable bunk beds and the bathrooms were tiny, dirty, and poorly equipped. The kitchen was also not very clean, and the living room was outdated and lacking in electrical outlets.

All things considered, for instance price, there is nothing I didnt like about the Lodge.

The friendly and helpful staff, then the location, a beatiful beach just across the street. Sharing with interesting fellow travellers,all helped to make our "must do bucket list" expericence worth it.

We got great value for our money at Buffalo Motel. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the location was perfect with a beautiful beach just across the road. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.
